The goal?
To create a retail-worthy brand within a competitive promotional product space. Provide customers with a fun and easy way to build a custom book for their clients through creative and informative imagery and other digital assets.
I landed on the name Scribl. A play on the uniqueness of someone's handwriting which naturally has a connection with books.
The logo represented a signature, a unique sign-off, something no one else has. This was important as it was a complete custom solution and an opportunity for a brand to showcase their own culture, responsibilities, and history.
The name needed to evoke playfulness and a light-hearted spirit which was showcased through the pastel color palette and flowing design of the logo.
Developed a naming convention that was more fun compared to the industry standard. Another way of differentiating the brand and adding to the identity of Scribl.
How else to differentiate the brand and make the ordering process more fun and memorable?
I developed a set of steps that mimicked building & eating a sandwich (a book is like a sandwich right?)
These steps paired with the different customization options in building a Scribl book.
